This project took a carefully developed 60,000 square foot master plan and sensitively nestled the facility into the site to make a heartwarming statement to the parkway. Stained glass windows were removed from the historic Capitol Street United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi for their new home in this facility. These windows became the design elements determining scale and proportion. The contextual vocabulary of Madison also influenced the final design.
