The Pediatric Dentistry Office is an 8,200 square foot flexible working space. The two-story structure is constructed of brick and lap siding with a standing seam metal roof. The building is oriented along the east to west axis to maximize solar efficiency. The south elevation is characterized by deep porches that shade the windows and provide coverage for the entry. The north elevation features large areas of glazing to maximize northern light inside the building while providing expansive views of the lake. The east end of the building is dominated by a 60’ tall lighthouse, visible from both the highway and the lake. In the dental area, all of the patient chairs face the window-filled north wall, continuing the focus on views of the natural surroundings.
